On Thursday, April 25, 2024, we celebrated the launch of The Kabani Foundation with an event supporting a local nonprofit, the Headfirst Mental Health Initiative (HMHI). Proceeds from our inaugural event, including raffle ticket sales and auction items, went toward funding additional counseling sessions for those in need.
Attendees were invited to indulge in complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of private jets coordinated by Million Air Dallas, accompanied by a display of luxury vehicles provided by Avondale dealership.
None of this would have been possible without the amazing support from HeadFirst Mental Health Initiative, Million Air Dallas, and our supporting partner, 360to180.
Almost $50,000 raised for the HeadFirst Mental Health Initiative, aiding their mission to provide mental health treatment to those in need.

The Kabani Foundation supported the Aga Khan Museum's exhibition, Rumi. The exhibition invited visitors to journey through the life and timeless legacy of Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi (d. 1273), known as Rumi, celebrating one of history’s most famous poets, on the 750th anniversary of his passing. His enduring impact was shared through an examination of artifacts, manuscripts, and contemporary art.
Rumi took visitors on a visual voyage through his early life in Central Asia, his experiences with displacement and migration, and his transformation into one of the most important mystical poets of the Persian-Islamic tradition. With our support, the museum was able to engage audiences with programming, tours, and events that brought Rumi’s work to life. From summer camps and Family Sundays to insightful lectures featuring artists, curators, and scholars, the Rumi exhibition was a catalyst for learning and dialogue.

As part of Greenhill School's Growing Stronger Together campaign, The Kabani Foundation donated to fund for the Rosa O. Valdes STEM + Innovation Center. With a goal of inspiring young minds and giving them more room to grow, the new STEM + Innovation Center will be an engine for developing collaborative and creative mindsets, teaching students to ask the right questions, think critically about the world around them, and solve problems in novel ways
This new 52,000-square-foot facility will house science, math, engineering, technology, and robotics classes and programs serving Middle and Upper School students. An innovation lab will challenge students to develop solutions to real world problems. The welcoming, flexible facility will feature an environmentally sustainable design and outdoor gathering spaces to encourage collaboration. Built to adapt to changes in STEM education, the facility will engage learners for generations.
On July 29, 2023, The Kabani Foundation held a luncheon to raise money for the Aga Khan Museum at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Proceeds from this lunch supported the Museum's programming, including events, festivals, exhibitions, and special presentations. This support ultimately helped the Museum to act as a catalyst for mutual understanding and tolerance between cultures, to be a centre of education and learning, and to foster a greater appreciation of the contributions that Muslim arts and culture has made to world heritage.
